Located on the Saanich Peninsula, North Saanich is surrounded on three sides of ocean shoreline, it is here in Shoal Harbour that you will find the North Saanich Marina, one of the favorite ports for sailing, boating and home to the North Saanich Yacht Club.

With extensive parks and trails, it has become a very poplar area for day hiking, cycling and horse back riding.  North Saanich is dominated by single-family homes many of which are on acreages, farms or country estates with stables.
